Christen Press, an American soccer player. She is a member of the Angel City FC team, which plays in the National Women's Soccer League. She also plays for the United States women’s team. Press made her international debut against Scotland in February 2013. She has now played in more 20 matches for her national team. She has contributed to four other goals and has scored seven goals.

Her college career has seen her set impressive records including 26 goals and 15 assists. She also holds the team record for points at 105. She has had a great career, even though she has not won a national title.

Press is a native of Los Angeles and played high school soccer at Chadwick High School. Her team won two Southern Section Division IV championships. Later, she played collegiate soccer for Stanford, where she still holds the record for highest scorer. She was awarded the Hermann Trophy in 2010

She also serves as a local ambassador. Press has made 155 appearances for the United States national team, and her 64 goals rank her ninth all-time.

Press was born in Palos Verdes Estates. Press attended Chadwick School and led her team to the CIF SS championships. She was named Player-of-the Year twice. She later went on soccer at Stanford University. She holds numerous career records for points and goals and won the Hermann Trophy as a senior. Angel City FC signed her recently and she will make her NWSL debut on February 24 against North Carolina Courage.
