LPGA Leaderboard – Who is Leading the LOTTE Championship

Brooke Henderson leads LOTTE Championship

Brooke Henderson of the LPGA is in line to claim her sixth career title. American has been seeking a win since January. But, Henderson is in fine form this week. She shot a six-under-par score of 69. In the first half of tournament, she averaged 25 putts per round. Through the first half of the tournament, she did not make a bogey in any round. She also has a 68 in her final five rounds.

The second round of the LOTTE Championship was filled with some tough conditions for the field, but despite the challenging conditions, Brooke Henderson is leading the leaderboard after two rounds. She is two strokes ahead Mo Martin who shot seven-under 70 and Shanshan Feng who shot seven-under 73. Pernilla Langberg, the only player to break 70 is tied for 25th.

Annika Sorenstam trails Madelene Sagstrom

Annika Sorenstam is now back at the top on the LPGA Tour leaderboard, having shot a 5-under 65 last Thursday. Madelene Sagstrom was Madeika's captain's choice last year. Sorenstam teamed up with her fellow LPGA Tour star Madelene. After the first round, they shot a 5-under 65 to share lead. Sorenstam, who is currently playing her second LPGA Tour tournament of the year, and third overall for 2008, will be taking part in this event. Sorenstam and Sagstrom play alternate shots again Friday.


Sorenstam was one of four players to shoot a 69 on Thursday, while Sagstrom is two shots behind. Both players are still in the hunt for a win, but they are still within reach of a trophy. Sorenstam has not won on the LPGA Tour since 2008. Since 2008, Sorenstam has not won on the LPGA Tour.

Brooke Henderson has won her second straight LPGA tournament

Brooke Henderson from Canada won her second consecutive LPGA Canada tournament. Last year, the 18-yearold had a remarkable season. At age eighteen she won the Women's PGA Championships Toronto. She then went on to represent Canada at 2016 Olympics. In Rio, she was seventh in the women’s golf tournament. She holds the record of the Canadian with the most LPGA Tour wins. She will win the tenth LPGA Event in April 2021. Since her debut in 2015 when she was just 15, Henderson has won an LPGA title every year.

Brooke Henderson won the Canadian LPGA Championship. She won the LOTTE Championship in May last year and also won the McKayson New Zealand Open and Meijer Classic. Her victory set a new Canadian record for the most LPGA Tour victories, beating Michelle Wie and Lexi Thompson by two strokes each. She also won the Bobbie Rosefeld Award, which is the highest honor of the LPGA.

The second LPGA event of her career came in Los Angeles, where Brooke Henderson dominated the field with a bogey-free 64 in the final round. After two rounds, she was four shots behind her leader. But by the end of the final round, her score was 12 under, which is one stroke more than the leader. Lindsey Weaver-Wright, who was just beginning her career on the tour, was on her way to her first win of the year, but Henderson's victory ended in a playoff after Henderson birdied the final hole.

The Canadian won the LPGA Championship at Seaview in addition to the win. She started the afternoon round four strokes behind Korda, but roared back with birdies on the first two holes. Nos. 3 & 9 were pars. She made bogeys on Nos. 3 and 9. Then, she went on a tear down the back nine, hitting putts up to eight feet on three of the last holes.
