Women's Flyweight UFC is defeated

UFC's women’s flyweight is a new division and is rapidly growing. Two champions are currently in the division, Nicco Montano (Navajo) and Valentina Shevchenko (Valentina Shevchenko). Montano is Chickasaw-Navajo and Hispanic in descent. She fell in love with MMA at an early age. She is coming off a victory in the first round against Joanne Wood, having won four straight.

Shevchenko's flawless record in the UFC

Valentina “Bullet” Shevchenko currently holds the title of UFC women’s champion at flyweight. She is currently 22-3 with six wins and just one loss. She is considered one of the world's best Muay Thai fighters, and has beaten four former UFC champions.

Calvillo steps up to fight against higher-ranked rivals

After struggling in her last three fights, Calvillo decided to step up to higher-ranked opponents. She started at the 56th per centile on the DKFP, and she beat Jessica Andrade, Katlyn Cragian, and Nina Nunes. Although she is no longer ranked, Calvillo has the potential to improve her MMA career.

Jedrzejczyk's title defence

Joanna Jedrzejczyk from Poland is a mixed martial artist. She has been competing in UFC for five years. Jedrzejczyk began her career in kickboxing. She lost three straight kickboxing fights to Valentina Shevchenko, a former UFC champion. This will be her debut defense of the UFC's title.

Calvillo’s career

UFC records are not good for Cynthia Calvillo. She is on a three-fight losing streak with the UFC, and another loss could see her leave. Although she's only 35, her UFC career isn't as bright as her record.
