
The United States women’s hockey team is one in the most successful international teams. They have won four Women's World Cup titles and four Olympic gold medals. Morgan, Lloyd, Alyssa and Tobin heath are all part of this elite roster.
Morgan
Alex Morgan is out of the two friendlies against England & Spain because of injury. Vlatko Butonovski has released the USWNT's 24-player roster to play in the international matches. The matches will be played in London on Oct. 7, and in Pamplona on Oct. 14, respectively. Both teams have qualified for the 2023 World Cup Australia.
Carli Lloyd
Carli Lloyd is one the most prolific goal-scorers in US women’s soccer history. She has 314 caps for the USWNT, and could make more if she plays in both friendlies against South Korea. Her career isn't without controversy. She has split from James Galanis, her longtime trainer, as well as a major injury. She is also one of the most highly-paid players in the women's sport.

Alyssa Thompson
Alyssa is one of America's brightest young players. She is a skilled player with the technical ability and speed to outpace defenders in one-on-1 duels. Her talent was discovered by coach Tracey Kevins, the head coach of the US women's Under-20 national team. Kevins recalls Thompson, 13, when she was scouting clubs in Southern California. She saw a forward who was both "brave and resilient" on the field during that game. Thompson is now part of the US national women's soccer team.
Tobin Heath
Tobin heath, a forward has been recently selected to the US women’s football team roster. She is a standout player who has played for the North Carolina Tar Heels and the United States national team. The United States Soccer Federation has called Heath "perhaps the most talented player in the USA." US Soccer named Heath Athlete Of The Year 2016.
Hope Solo
Hope Solo has been a controversial figure in the women's soccer world, carving out a complicated legacy. Solo is one of the most accomplished goalkeepers, having made 202 appearances on the U.S. soccer team, and holding a record for keeping 152 clean sheets. However, Solo has also been known for her outspoken opinions, and her controversial character has been one of the biggest talking points in the sport.
Tobin Naeher
The United States women’s soccer team is now in the final stages for their World Cup qualification campaign. Tobin Nasser was a surprise pick, but she's been a valuable member of this team. She played every minute of the match and made four saves against France in the 2-1 win. Naeher also saved Steph Houghton's attempt to score a penalty kick in the semifinals.

Tiffany McLeod
The Canadian women's soccer team was involved in a controversy over referee Christiana Persen's bias. Pedersen issued a penalty for the United States to hold the ball in their penalty area in the 80thminute. Pedersen (a former World Cup referee) was not immediately available for comment.
Megan Rapinoe
Megan Rapinoe has been an unwavering presence for the United States Women's National Team for over a decade. The forward is a formidable player on and off of the field. She was raised in Redding (California) and played volleyball alongside her older brother. Rapinoe has been a major player for the United States in recent years. She scored two goals at the 2012 World Cup as well as another in the 2015 World Cup.
