Marina Alex is second

Marina Alex has had a stellar season so far. However, that's just one reason for her success. Alex was out of action for seven months due to a back injury. When the COVID-19 pandemic struck the United States, Alex's schedule was altered. She needed to continue to exercise to stay fit. After competition resumed in September she experienced back problems. She played through it, and was determined to get healthy in time for the end-of-year tournaments.

Alex has made all but one cut in recent times. She tied for fourth in February's LPGA Drive On Championship. She was also good during the West Coast Swing. She finished 35th at Mission Hills Country Club's Chevron Championship, Rancho Mirage. Then she tied for 10th at Wilshire Country Club's DIO Implant L.A. Open in Los Angeles.
