Lara Dickenmann, a Swiss soccer player, has received numerous national honors in recent years. She began her career at the youth team and moved up to the senior team. In 2002, she was first-team All American and in 2004, first-team All Big Ten. She was also a threetime Academic All-Big Ten Honoree and four-time Ohio State Scholar Athlete. Interestingly, Sydney Leroux also has a dual nationality - her father was born in the U.S., while her mother is Canadian. At 15 years old, she made her professional debut in soccer. She plays currently for the Seattle Reign FC of the NWSL. She played in 2013 for the Boston Breakers, and she is currently a member at the Seattle Reign FC.

Filigno is a soccer player who has played in many different countries. She has represented Canada twice at the Olympics, including as part the senior national team.
