Manuel has only fought three times professionally, and his first two bouts were amateur bouts. His entire career was full of injuries. He's missed several fights due to back-to-back injuries, shifting priorities in the bureaucracy, and the pandemic. However, he has not fulfilled his promise to be back in the ring.

Her family was not supportive of the decision to undergo gender reassignment. She served four years with the Navy, becoming an operations specialists second class. She enrolled at the University of Toledo after her divorce in 2007.

Fallon Fox, a professional mixed martial artist, announced her retirement in early 2018, following a defeat to Amanda Nunes at UFC 215 and that she would no longer be competing in the sport. In February 2017, she declared her intention to retire. In July 2017, she returned to the octagon and fought Raquel Pennington, losing a unanimous decision. Since then, Fox has not participated in a fight.
While her MMA career was brief, it's noteworthy to note that she has since become a prominent advocate for transgender athletes. Born as a boy, she was raised to believe that she was a gay man. She was unaware that there were other transgender people in the world.
