She made 108 USWNT appearances and scored 25 goals, while also providing 34 assists.
Horan has traveled the globe through her college and high school experiences. In 2012, Horan played in the W-League for Colorado Rush. She scored two goals and shot 19 times. Later, she signed six-figure contracts with Paris Saint-Germain FC. Since then she has played for PSG as a forward.

Lindsey Horan, then just eighteen years of age, decided to become a professional and join Paris Saint-Germain. This shockwave shook the soccer world. Horan was already a highly skilled player who had previously committed to playing for the University of North Carolina. However, she chose to stay in France and establish herself as a professional soccer player.
Horan was still playing in her youth club and had a crush upon Messi, one the top USWNT players. Horan's youth team coach called her after a family trip in Spain and offered her the opportunity to try for the French club. Horan and her entire family left college for a brief period and moved to France to train with this team. Horan didn't make an official appearance for the team to maintain her NCAA eligibility.

She will join French side Olympique Lyonnais on loan until June 2023
USWNT midfielder Horan has signed a loan agreement with Olympique Lyonnais, France until June 2023. He will be joining the club for the 2019-season. Horan will be joined by Catarina macario, USWNT partner. Both players are part of Lyon's squad since last season.
The move comes as no surprise given Horan's recent history in Europe. She played previously in France with Paris Saint-Germain between 2012 and 2016. She recently won the Women's World Cup at Lyon, and she has signed a contract extension to Thorns FC. She will remain in the US until 2025.
