
The United States women's team (USWNT), boasts a strong roster with talented young players. These are Taryn Torres and Julie Moultrie as well as Jaedyn Shaw and Megan Rapinoe. These players can help the USWNT progress to the quarterfinals. Their potential and experience is not as high as that of their peers.
Taryn Torres
Torres' recent call-up to the U.S. Women's National Team has been a huge step in the right directions for her career. The forward, aged 18, is versatile and has a great shot. She has already played in three league matches and four Challenge Cup. Gotham FC picked her 2021 draft pick, but she chose to continue her college education at the University of Virginia. She earned four All-ACC honors during her college career. She was also part the U-20 team at the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Torres will be coached by Jene Baclawski, a former technical director for the South Texas Youth Soccer Association. Baclawski heads the Visa SheBelieves Cup MVP selection team.
Torres scored Torres's opener goal for U.S. Women's National Team vs Nicaragua last week. It was a significant goal for U.S. soccer. She also scored the second goal for the U.S. women in the team's 2-0 win over Nicaragua.
Julie Moultrie
Olivia Moultrie is now on the US Women's Youth National Team roster. Olivia will participate in the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. Moultrie was the youngest player to score an NWSL goal last month. She has played in eight games with Thorns FC during the 2022 seasons, scoring two goals and providing two assists.

U-20 WYNT athletes have been a valuable asset for the U.S team. They won the last edition with an impressive 44-1 goal differential. They didn’t concede until the final game. Mia Fishel won Golden Ball as the tournament's best player. The team included three international players. Brianna pinto and Talia del Peruta both scored at least three goals.
Jaedyn Shaw
Jaedynshaw has made a positive impact on the USWNT-20 team. While on a training camp for French women's soccer, she scored two goals in three matches. She is expected be selected for the U20 World Cup roster. She joined the San Diego Wave recently and will join Alex Morgan (and Abby Dahlkemper) as teammates. Jill Ellis was her former coach in the USWNT. She will guide her.
Jaedyn, a forward has been added to the U-20 Women's National Team team. The team includes Shaw of Washington Spirit, a youth soccer league player. Olivia Moultritrie (midfielder) is a professional player.
Megan Rapinoe
Megan Rapinoe is out with injury from the United States Women’s National Team. She has 96 caps. The injury was sustained while the forward was in training at U.S. Soccer National Training Center Carson. Rapinoe has since been home and will continue with her rehabilitation. The USWNT is set to play France on February 8th and England February 13th.
Rapinoe, who has been instrumental in the recent success of USWNT has been named their face. Rapinoe grew up in Redding with her twin brother and sister. She has scored big goals for the United States, including at the World Cup 2013. Her winning goal was in a 3-2 win against Nigeria.

United States Women's National Team
The United States Women's National Team U-20 is a soccer club for young women in the United States. It is managed by U.S. Soccer and is comprised of talented women soccer players from all across the country. This team has participated in numerous international tournaments and won many soccer tournaments.
The U-20 World Cup kicks off Sunday with the match between the USA and the Netherlands. The broadcast will be on FS1. Wednesday will see a match between Japan, USA, and Canada. Each team has won one game, but they will be looking for a better result next time.
